- US and Foreign comparisons:
- US - Ring sizes in the United States are based on a numbering system from 1 to 15 with 1/2 sizes in between.
- UK (British) - One half size in the US system is roughly equivalent to one whole size in the UK system which is measured by alphabetical letters A-Z. These sizes are also evenly spaced with 1/2 sizes in between.
- European - Sizes are based on the circumference measurement of the ring in millimeters. The more general European system of ring sizes use the inner circumference (in mm) minus 40.
- Japanese (JP) - Sizes are a numerical system based on the ring's diameter. One division being one third of a millimeter starting with size 1 which is 13mm inside diameter.
How to Find Your Ring Size
To find your ring size cut a narrow strip of paper 1/4" wide or less. Wrap the paper around your ring finger and fasten it with a small piece of sticky tape. Cut off any excess. Remove from your finger, flatten it and measure the diameter. Find the closest diameter in the table below and convert to the equivalent US size.
